We made our contribution for the White Bird Project as part of last Sunday's morning service.

400+ poppies have been crocheted to remember each of the local folk who died in WW1 and will be displayed - draped over the pulpit - as part of the There But Not There reflection at Hope Chapel.

Our own Chatty Crochet group are busy creating 418 poppies to be used in a Remembrance event at Hope Chapel, commemorating the loss of 418 men from Hebden Bridge and the surrounding parishes in WW1

Delighted to be hosting this amazing line-up as part of the Hebden Bridge Arts Festival

Now, with an Arts Festival theme of 'Nonconformism', we were always going to have something to say.

Whatever the reasons they were on their feet at the recent folk festival, a chapel feels like a good place for this kind of joyful self-expression.
