Today we said goodbye to Jean Forrest, one of the most-loved members of our church. Jean was as confident about the love of her Lord as she faced death as when she was alive.
She suggested holding the memorial service in the back room, since not many folk would turn up. In fact, the restored chapel building was full of people gathered to celebrate her life.
A servant-hearted woman filled with great humility and Christian love:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Already planning carpets, cleaning, etc ... and setting up a CIC to run this unique venue for the benefit of our local community. Get in touch if you're interested.
